Baddest short scale ever: the MFD Squire Bronco!
Nice playing, nice looking Fender Squire Bronco. Pickguard painted black with Krylon plastic paint. Fender thumbrest added.
Aaaaaannnnd G&L MFD humbucker wired in series added, along with a new Bayou Cables wiring harness with 250k pots and a nice orange cap.
BAM! This mutha is deep, aggressive, grindy, and guaranteed to bronco-buck right thru the densest mix.
Looks damn cool too!
$250, to your door-that's what I've got in it...
It's a short scale a**-whippin' machine!

L1000 *not* included; but I guarantee, this Bronco does give it a run for the money!

For those that have asked, I believe this is a 30" scale....but I'll measure tonight when I get home and post a definitive number...

Somebody buy this bass immediately! Too cool. In series, MFD's can knock down walls.

OMG, I am experiencing (again) terrible GAS because of this one. Have tried many short scales (they are my softest spot) and currently own about a dozen. This one looks great !!!

It is great!
I've enjoyed my time with it, but I spend a lot of time on double bass these days, and the move from 42" scale to 30" scale is just a little mid warping right now.
At an electric only gig I can move back and forth from the Bronco's 30" scale for a 34" P bass real easy-but trying to use the Bronco at a gig where I double is just a lil much for my little bitty brain
