Bakithi Kumalo's Pre 1990 Modulus 5 string fretless custom 1 off

This bass is very rare and they made only a had full in those days, non serial number. It has a little buckle rash on the back but other wise is in very nice shape. Its one of the first tbx quantum's made. Its sporting 2 EMG single coils with EMG active electronics it also fetures a composite fret board which gives it a great fretless tone. It will be sold with a nice Gator hard shell case. They are not making any more of these and they are highly collectible. Also I have recently put new strings on. I am open to offers, first off I just want the bass to find a good home with someone who will take care of it and PLAY it. I have two other TBXs that get played and this one never finds its way on stage as I just don't play much fretless. This bass has a ton of tone! from nice flat fretless to a very Les Claypool tone. I don't think this sale will last long so if you want it don't waste any time. Also if you look at the inlay on the head stock and compare it to the pictures of Bakithi with the bass it is very easy to tell its the same bass.

This is a once in a decade chance to buy one perhaps your last...... people that own these do not sell. I am only selling because I need the cash for another bass and I really want someone to play this bass!

I've played this bass and it is one of the sweetest sounding and playing fretless basses you'll ever find. If I had the need for yet another axe I'd be all over this. Bump for a rare bass for sale.
