For sale - a beautiful condition Basslab Soul V Fretless in the all black color, with fully fitted semi-flight case.
Bought it last year, and it really is a stunning bit of kit - amazing sounds, and it plays like a dream. I am in that "don't really want to sell" quandary, but I have my eyes firmly set on something else, and I just don't play it enough to justify holding onto it. I would rather see someone else play it as it deserves!
It has a brand new set of LaBella flatwounds on it, and I will even throw in a new strap, that is unused, and looks great with it.
Any more info, please let me know! I have it listed on Craigslist too, but I can imagine that there will be more interest here, for such a rare but cool bass.
I am looking for $1,400 for it, which is a total STEAL, as one sold recently in Atlanta for $1,850 (same bass, just not the cool black!). I would accept PayPal too.
ALSO - I have lots more images if you want them - I am pretty new to Talkbass, so I am still slightly struggling with the image uploading technology!
Good luck and thanks for looking!

I don't have any of me (I don't have any means of recording here) with it, but there are a ton of sound clips and youtube clips of Basslab basses online. I have to tell you though...they just do NOT do them justice. It sounds amazing...it is very rich, woody, crisp with basically the most flexible eq I have ever had on a fretless, and I have owned tons, including Sadowskys, Stingrays, Wals....it sounds amazing.
If I wasn't saving up for an upright, I wouldn't sell it! |

It IS 34" scale. |

Also it would be super helpful if you could fill out your profile a bit here on TB, especially your location. Thanks! |

I have lived here for three years now, and love it! It's such an amazing town in so many ways. And full of bass players that frequently humiliate you.
Ditto on the Rough Crystal pickups. They are awesome. Pains me to see them go!
If anyone needs more pics, let me know. |

Please forgive me being so persnickety, it's just that we have to be careful when doing business with people we don't know and can't see. I'm not trying to be unpleasant at all, especially because I really do want this bass.
Any chance you could post an identifying pic, like the bass with your face and a piece of paper that says "talkbass"? I know that sounds silly, but it would seal the deal for me. Thanks! |

No worries, I can do that later. I moved from the UK three years ago, and my EBay profile was in the UK, but no longer. EBay are just screwy when you move. Changing location apparently requires blood samples and DNA!
I totally understand your persnickitiness. No worries whatsoever.
Oh, I am thinking of using FedEx for shipping, as I have had VERY bad experience with UPS - they managed to break a bass cabinet last year. That's right, a CAB! They think that dropping stuff from 12 feet is acceptable. Duh. Whoever buys it, I would get a quote quickly - it's not a heavy bass, so it shouldn't be expensive. My memory tells me that NOLA to anywhere in the CONUS is about $45? |
