This rare bird is completely hollow from bridge to nut, and sounds like the hollowbody it is. Big, deep tone, has soundholes and can be heard enough unplugged to practice quietly, but feedback isn't an issue as it's only a couple of cm thick. Nissan sunlit copper metallic with black faux 'guard. Headstock is cosmetic with tuners at bridge for perfect balance even at this feathery weight. Takes any standard strings. Passive, high output German "rough crystal" pups (stacked slimline humbuckers), stacked vol/tone and 4-way pup selector (bridge, both in parallel, both in series, neck) a la Dingwall. 34", 19mm, very flat board like a mirror. Hollow neck is a tapper's dream (but I can only dream of tapping ). Ridiculously stable through temp and humidity changes. Has a truss rod and can be set up stupid low or higher. Schaller strap buttons with a 3rd recessed Dunlop receiver in the lower body edge for my bass belt (never needed that with this baby)-can't be seen unless you flip her upside down and stare at the lower edge, affects nothing.
9.9/10. 2 tiny paint chips on back of headstock, tiny white smudge on the vol knob (likely cleanable with solvent) else some swirling in the clearcoat but that's it. Matching gigbag.
Over 4K new. This one took 10 months. Selling for 2450 shipped CONUS or can be picked up in Montreal. Shipped from within CAN for another 100.
More pics when I get a chance. You will not find a more comfortable, super light, huge sounding, unique bass, period.
Would trade for a Fender 5er (under 10 lbs, any cosmetic shape as long as good playability and tone) and at least 1500 cash. No other bass trade offers please. Would consider partial trades for shuttle cabs, GK neo-2 cabs, Epi UL 212 or 410, Walkabout head.

It sounds like 10 tons, however. I am willing to sell on a 24hr approval, as long as the buyer agrees to eat TWO way shipping if he decides otherwise. It has to be heard to be believed, and I understand very few have played one before.

Guys telling you basslab is the shizznit! | Remember it's completely hollow, so think Jazz melded with a Guild Starfire. Passive but very high output with very wide and deep tone. I'm not clip-savy but as I posted, will sell with a 24h approval if buyer agrees to eat all the shipping if returned.

I just aquired a shoulder injury that makes even my 8.5-9 pound Sadowsky hurt like hell.
Lemme think this one through........
Question, I know you describded the tone already, but any clips by chance?

Very durable, but the top is specifically made to be thin enough that you can move it with your thumb-giving it remarkable acoustic qualities. It's essentially a thinline ABG-the soundholes allow it to be heard easily when playing quietly alone-much louder than a semihollow or solidbody.

I love it but I can't play more than 1 bass at a time so after sleeping on it (again) it's FS (again). More pics coming today to show the only small flaws (2 minute paint chips on the back of headstock and a small white smudge on the vol knob. Remember it's finished with auto paint and clearcoat, so Nissan sunlit copper metallic matches it perfectly.
