Bassline Basses Universal 36" EUB/Fretless Made in Germany

The 36" scale is not for me, which is a shame since I really wanted to wear this with a strap for some gigs. These are hard to find outside of Europe and cost somewhere around $4,000 new. I've only seen one for sale used, in Australia, for $2000. The bass is in extremely good shape aside from one indent on the back of the neck. It includes the bag but I don't have the stand, any pole of the correct diameter would work of course. It has D'Addario super long scale strings on it. The controls are volume, pickup blend (mag and bridge piezo), and tone.

SOLD on Ebay in around 12 hours

BassLine & Delta Guitars | Universal: Universal, upright, Kontrabass

of course!

on a site like TB, you are bound to find cats that have heard of the most rare instruments.

To correct my self from an earlier post, these are more rare than the Worp fretless.

That is quite funny. Haven't tried, roundwound EB strings and all, wonder if there's enough curvature to allow....hmm...

These are nice instruments

I have a Worp fretless

The Worp became my go to, everyday bass, for straight ahead & fusion stuff

awesome playablity & quality workmanship

I'm sure this bass is great

Can it be played arco? Is the bridge curved? How much is it curved?

Bridge and fb are curved (and bridge is individually adjustable), I'll try arco in a little bit and report back

It can be played arco, I can't vouch for the tone since it's got EB strings on but the tone is excellent for pizz. I've been playing it for awhile today and I really love it but I can't get used to jumping from 3-finger to 4-finger technique a few positions in, this needs to be played by someone who is going to stick with one or the other.
