Benavente Vintage Vortex 4

Sign in to disble this ad
Benavente Vintage Vortex 4. Excellent condition, 3 band Suhr preamp, pull volume knob out to bypass. Hipshot Ultralight tuners with D-Tuner. Notice the narrow neck pickup shown on the wood floor photo. It currently has the narrow pickup and pickguard installed, the wide pickup and guard shown on the black background photo will be included with this bass. The narrow pickup and pg was installed by Brian at LowEnd. Bass looks and feels fantastic! Jazz sized neck, feels like home to me.
includes HSC shown.

$1700 shipped conus only. Sorry no trades.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys

By the way she sounds as good as she looks. The Suhr preamp and Benavente pickups are a MIGHTY combo!

I'll be very sad to see this one go but it's the last boutique bass I have and I'm gonna have to stick with a couple cheaper basses for a while.

Which color is closest to being the actual color? The one in the case? The headstock shot? Or the one with the blk. background?

Okay, that's got to be close to the most perfect bass I've ever seen. Wow.

I think all the pics are pretty accurate. The color on this one depends a lot on the lighting. My place isn't brightly lit so it looks a little on the dark side in the case pics.

The headstock and black background pics were from the LowEnd website. In fact I found a link! Can't believe it's still there...

Here's a nice pic using a flash.

By the way I forgot to mention it has a Detuner. Might not notice that from the pics if you weren't looking for it.

Maybe! I had two of those at one time. Are you sure that's the one?

Would have been very tempting last year but it's just not in the cards now

Bumpity-bump.

Now includes upgraded case!

A bit dirty on one edge, probably would clean up easy enough, guess it never bothered me enough to mess with it. Otherwise excellent with a nice big pocket on the outside and compartments inside. Lightweight but very well made. The zippers still work great, no snags or anything like that. Fits this bass perfectly.
