Seriously. I put this one together with my dream parts but we are moving to a much smaller house so I gotta make some sacrifices. '62' RI PJ Parts Bass. 7# 13 oz, yes, under 8 pounds, its a featherweight. Squier Standard P Bass Special Black sparkle body. Big route under pickguard because I had a Tele humbucker bass pickup in her at 1 time. Fender Original P pickup and Fender '75 RI jazz bridge pickup. 250k pots and orange capacitor. Setscrew style chrome knobs, D'Addario strings, refinished neck in nitro, rolled fretboard edges, no decal Fender 60's style bridge. Gigbag. Setup with the pickup output nicely balanced - real player and so easy on the shoulder and back. So much better playing and sounding than a Mexican standard bass. $395 shipped in US48. |
