Due to unforseen events, not the least of which is my second child on the way, I have to sell my Corto. Beautiful Spanish Cedar, tort guard, matching chrome knobs (no chicken head), varitone switching.
Plays fantanstic, tried a few sets of string on her and settled on Labella 760 medium scale. Those strings added a great depth and character to it's tone.
Comes with original case and paperwork. Only played 3 shows and about 6 or so practices. She's in the same condition as when I recieved her.

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Langhorne, PA, USA | | | These are GREAT basses -- take it from someone who owns a Cortobass that is quite similar to this one (mine is S/N 10C-210), and has a super-custom Birdsong "Double Fusion" bass being built for him. They may be lightweight, short-scale basses, but there is nothing "lightweight" about the sound you'll get from the Cortobass .... and the playability is superb!
