For sale is my 'NEW' November 2010 Birdsong Hy5, 5 string short scale bass guitar for $2,050 (free shipping up to $75). It has never left the house and rarely left its case. My purchase price was $2,450.00 with a near 9 month wait. I'm selling because I need to thin my herd, last-in-first-out. Local pickup is available. I will ship to CONUS with Paypal payment. Why did they stop doing the all 5 string wrap through body design? That was a great advance for long scale string use. Now its only the B.

Still one of a kind design cool axe.

Is the string spacing really 16mm? Was that a custom option? because he advertises a 17.5 mm string spacing on his website.

You're right at 17.5mm string spacing. I just measured and corrected the post. Must have been a typo.
