I have a stunning Yamaha TRB-5-II up for grabs. It's VERY light for an ash bodied 5 banger. I'm guessing under 9 lbs, but I'll weigh her later. Plays and sounds GREAT.
As for dings, only 3 are noticeably visible at all (and they are minor), with some other lines in the finish that aren't noticeable without close inspection. The pictures were taken to really show the flaws at their worst, but at most angles and lighting conditions, they are not that noticeable. One small ding on the neck (pictured) which does not effect playability.
No playability issues and everything is fully functional. These are crafted exceptionally well and it's a shame they are not avail anymore. The newer Made in Korea TRB-1005 versions just don't stack up with these Made in Japan versions.
Edit (for even lower price): I'm going to blow this out for just $599 and will even split shipping (for here in the lower 48 U.S.). Looking for a quick sale (hence the low price). You will be VERY HARD pressed to find a more well built, better sounding 5 string for this money or less (good luck to you on that). These are crafted as good or nearly as good as many boutique basses out there IMHO. NO TRADES PLEASE!!!!!!! ON HOLD (updates to follow)!
