FYI - I thought for sure my bandmates would laugh me out of the room when I first showed it to them. I opened the case and jaws hit the floor. To quote the guitarist, "That, Sir, is an instrument for the bassist who doesn't f*ck around!" Relevance to the thread? This is a DANGEROUS instrument. You may be a dangerous player, but you're just a wolf in sheep's pretty panties until you strap this thing on. It's like bringing a nest of hornets into the room, then punting it into the audience. The iconic shape, the warning coloration, the thump that hits the crowd like a MUNI bus smacking into a bike messenger. If you were ever on the fence about Bongos because some feel that they look "silly", or "ghastly", I assure you that naysayers will eat their hat and more should you choose to wield the full power of this instrument.
Buy my bass and join the orange side. Only then will you have the power to save Padme. |

Spacing at the nut is about how much? | String spacing is 1-3/4" at the nut by my dime-store tape measure. Here's what I gleaned from the Musicman website:
1-3/4" (44.5 mm) at nut 2-13/16" (71.4 mm) at last fret |

Even more then my Jerome Little custom 5er. This bass fu%$in KILLS! Plenty of tones, the neck plays really easy, and it feels and looks good. Don't hesitate, if i didn't have mine, i would be all over this...this is a great deal. |
