Brubaker Brute 5 w/Sadowsky singles and Demeter 2 band

I have enough J basses. I need a 5 string P bass. I can add some dough for the right bass.

I bought this new about 6 months ago. It has been gigged maybe a dozen times at the most so it's in great shape. No scratches or dings except usual swirling on the pickguard from slapping. I installed a pair of Sadowsky (nordy) single coils and a Demeter 2 band preamp and it really sounds great. It has a very punchy sound. really thick midrange. More like alder, less like ash. 19mm string spacing and a pretty flat neck profile. I would say it's less than 10 lbs but I'll get an exact weight if you need it. Comes with the Gator semi soft case which I also bought new. It is in perfect shape.

Check out the pic of the neck pickup. You can see where I had to slightly modify the PG to get the neck pickup to fit. You can hardly tell. It will ship with the ortiginal electronics. they are EMG style active PU's with a 2 band preamp. That setup sounded reasonably good but nowhere like whats in it now.

With everything shipped lets say $650 obo. All trades considered but I'm really looking for a 5 STRING P bass.

edit.....no fretless basses and no 35" scale basses. Also, only 19mm string spacing. thanx.

Just to be clear it's a MTD Kingston CRB 5 string fretless P bass. Just bought it 2 month ago. Starting to think fretless is not my thing
