This is a re-list. I had a buyer over seas recently bail out (4/2/11), so it's back up for grabs! It's all ready to be shipped/picked up/whatever.

FOR SALE AND TRADE!!

howdy, friends!

here's a used, but not abused, F Bass BN5. not traveled with. light dings (all pictured) but none from neglect or abuse. used in studio and live performances. here's the fbass site for specs:

http://www.fbass.com/bn_info.php#

Absolutely nothing wrong with the bass. my style is far more accustomed to old fenders nowadays, so the boutique stuff feels unnatural to me. purchased new from the bass exchange in los angeles in May of 2006, this bass was a staple of my sound for years. I'll send more pictures upon request so you can see all the details.

i'm asking for $3000. Im also open to trading for an old 60s/70s fender jazz bass (100% original/functioning. Cosmetic wear & tear welcome!) or a newer Fender Custom Shop 5 string. This FBass comes with the padded F Bass case (needs new zippers.) i'll also throw in a new set of La Bella Super Steps for free. please contact me with any and all questions. this bass sounds incredibly beautiful and needs to be appreciated.

=)

Thanks for all the messages, everyone. I appreciate the interest.

I am, however, only interested in a sum of money or a trade for a 60s/70s fender jazz bass. I am not interested in other boutique electric basses. Just old fender jazzes.

Thanks! Lemme see whatcha got!

To answer the multiple PM questions:

I took the old strings and neck off for shipping purposes before the buyer bailed. Might ship it in 2 pieces instead of assembled in the FBass case, but we can iron those deets out when we get there.

Thanks for the questions

I'm supposed to be reducing my collection right now, not growing it. Why did you have to put this up for sale?

Well, let's see if these clips help either of you then.

Here are some awesome YouTubes for anyone wondering what a BN5 sounds like:

Slap

Finger Style

Chords

And because someone mentioned Jaco...
