OK, I picked this up on an impulse thinking I would refinish it in a nice cherry burst or something nice other than the deep red it was when I got it from fellow TB member "portraitoftracy".... I also have two other P basses that are in different stages of finish and/or waiting on parts. I just don't see myself getting to this INFINI anytime soon and I don't want this bass to sit around waiting for me to find the time to get to it and I don't want any sweat and grime from me working it's way into the Ash so I have it just sitting in it's case. I'm hoping it can go to someone who can take care of the refinishing and put the bass to good use. The bass was originally built for Thaddaeus Tribbett and is the 4th INFINI that Tim built. I sent the bass back to Tim and I had him strip the old finish off the body and do all the sanding work... it's ready to grain fill and finish. I also had him reinstall his Aguilar OBP3 preamp setup as someone before me had replaced the original with a Bart pre. He went over the neck and frets and brought the bass right back to original specs. The bass is:

Ash
3 piece Maple/Wenge neck
Ebony fingerboard with matching Ebony on the headstock
Nordstrand Fatstacks
Hipshot hardware
Aguilar OBP3 preamp (9 volt)
The bass weighs about 7 lbs 10 oz. give or take an oz. or two

The Lion on the back looks to be inlaid into the Ash so it's there for good I think. It never bothered me and I'm thinking it must have some religious meaning or something. If someone could chime in that knows that would be great.

I'll ship the bass in a soft/hard case that is in good but not perfect shape. The shipping is included in the price of $1150.00. I was told when Tim gets back on schedule (which isn't to far off) this same bass will in fact be $3200.00 +. So here's your chance to get a fantastic bass and have it finished to your liking. I'm not in any real need of cash right now so a bank money order/usps money order by snail mail would be fine. Please PM me if you have any other questions.

Yes, that bass is built for a Christian to play, especially in Praise and Worship!
