Callowhill INFINI 5 String for sale
Hey TBer's,
I'm selling my Callowhill 5 String (terry tribbett model, which has a different headstock than other INFINI's), to make way for a 4 string Callowhill. What can I say other than times change as do tastes in how many strings you want on a bass.
Specs are - 16.5mm spacing, which is the same as my Gary Willis GWB Ibanez bass. Very Comfy. Dark Rosewood Fingerboard. Light ash body. (one of the lightest basses I've ever picked up) Sunburst on the front, camo on the back. The headstock is veneered with ebony and red lettering. The pickups are both Nordstrand and so is the preamp.
Preamp is Volume [push/pull passive], Pickup Blend, Tone, Mid [push/pull Freq Select], and stacked Bass /Treble.
The bass also has a finger board ramp which can either stay in or be taken off easily. Tim (builder) installed it with with the perfect amount of pressure so it didn't need screws or glue to stay in place.
The bass also has a bass-mute installed. (I already have an extra 4 string mute for my next bass, mwah ha ha)
Bass plays like a dream, it can have incredibly low action if you want. This bass crushes in the studio. It does the vintage thing very very well.
Only downside is a small scratch in the Nitro finish, does not go into the body (pictured)
$2500 shipped to CONUS. new INFINI's cost $3400
