He is able to keep it, he just wants to sell the sucker. No financial bind here, just GAS. Or maybe he wants to get rid of the smell, hence the nickname.

There's actually no GAS on my behalf. I won't be buying another bass. I don't HAVE to sell it, but I NEED to sell it to take care of household things that are more important.

I'd like to keep as much funk near me as possible..lol

Sorry if I'm missing something but can you explain the stank part of the description? Does the bass have a smell and if so, what is the cause?

Haha, it has a smell of pure nastiness...Lolol . When I plug the bass up all I can do is make the stank face. Tons of tonal options and it's capable of some seriously thick and creamy tones.

It just sounds "stanky" if you catch my drift...lol

Got it. I know it sounds silly but I've had a few instruments that had a foul odor: one from mildew where the guitar was stored in a damp basement and another that stinks like clearcoat LONG after it was shipped.

Nice bass.
