Ok, it's another CT for sale on TB!!!

This one is a Carl Thompson custom 4 string fretted electric. 36 inch scale maple neck with ebony and paduck laminates, ebony fingerboard.

The body has a paduck top, zebrawood back, walnut core with a bubinga laminate in between the walnut and zebrawood.

The weight is about 8 pounds, very light and comfortable to play.

It has schaller tuners, 2 J-style EMG pickups with EMG electronics (vol, vol, bass, treble) , handmade adjustable wooden bridge and pickup covers, and a simple and beautifully carved scroll on the upper horn.

The serial number on the back of the headstock is dated in February of 1994 and the front of the headstock has Carl's signature nameplate. The neck width at the nut is 1 and 5/8 inches, and the neck width at the 24th fret is 2 and 5/8 inches, and the depth of the neck is 3/4 of an inch.

Im usually not a fan of CT's basses, but this one is dead sexy. Nicest one I've ever seen.

Good luck with the sale.

Can I play it even if there's no way I can possibly buy it?

Whatever technique used to suspend 4 strings over a set of frets is only worth so much.IMHO.My Alembic cost over 5 grand new.I would be lucky to get $1500 for it!I will add it plays is built and sounds better than My,Elrick,Bossa,Skjold, and Fender. Is it just because Les plays these that they demand such resale value?I mean c'mon it's Les.

Will this tool be able to just blow away My other tools or,is that the price for Carl's finger funk?If it will,I will give you my Bossa obj-5 and a Skjold 5 +cash for it.I have been gasing for a Thompson since I was 15!............I guess I could just buy it but, since I can't play it what do you think on the comparison to these other brands?
