I bought this on the forum earlier this year, and now that the project has ended it hardly gets played. Flame koa top, mahog neck and body, tortise shell multi layer binding, ebony fretboard, in line headstock with chrome hardware. It plays like an electric and sounds like an acoustic/ electric, and I've put Earthwood bronze acoustic strings on it. I bought it for $675, invested $70 into having the flamed koa thumb rest and knobs made, and the truss rod cover laminated. I found the bridge was slightly off center causing the strings to be off center on the fretboard, so I had some slots cut into the saddle to position the strings correctly. They are not deep and cause no buzz on the higher frets. I'm not convinced I want to sell it; it's a fine piece of art on the wall when it's not being used. Therefore, my asking price of $700 shipped ground to the conus is firm ($625 if you pick it up from Port St Lucie, FL) Includes the strap, case and original LaBella tapewounds
