I just bought a 1978 Fender Jazz so now I'm selling off a couple basses to pay for it.
Second up is a year 2000 made-in-the-USA Carvin B5 bolt-on 5 string in a lovely shade of mint green.
This amazing instrument looks like it was made out of mint ice cream. The photos make it look white but trust me this is a real beautiful minty green. Sometimes I can't stop staring at it. With the dark ebony fretboard this bass may as well be dessert.
The construction is flawless. The condition is as mint as the color. I've dabbled on and off with 5 string but not enough to keep this when I've got a '78 Fender Jazz on the way. It must go, but it will make someone very happy (and hungry.)
Spec sheet from Carvin.com

This bass packs of plenty of punch and with all those controls you can get all kinds of tones. It looks perfect and plays perfectly. The neck is very comfortable even if you are not used to 5 string (like me). String spacing fairly narrow but not unreasonably so. Comes with original hard case. $420 shipped. Lower 48 only. Money order or Paypal preferred.
This is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to prioritize a local sale in order to avoid shipping.
E-mail or PM if interested. Trades I'd be interested in: Carvin 4-string w/ abalone BLOCK inlays. NEW model EXH Microsynth. But run anything by me. Edit: not so much looking for amps, cabs, or combos.
