Carvin Bunny Brunel 4 String Quilted Maple

Sign in to disble this ad
I am thinning out the herd to pay for for some recent amp and cab purchases. I have a Bunny Brunel 4 string bass which I have owned for 2 years. It is in awesome condition, has the quilted green maple top and maple neck. This is the original BB model with th 9 volt active electronics. It plays so nice I am hating to let it go but I also own a Carvin Icon which I had custom ordered and one of them has to go. This model to me actually plays better then the Icon as the next is more like a Fender Jazz thin and comfortable. Also very light and balances nicely. It has no scratches or dings that I can see. I will ship it in a gig bag in side of a bass box to make sure it is protected. $650.00 shipped in the cont. US.

Do you get a hum when you solo either pickup by itself that goes away when you blend them both? If so, that would mean J99's. No hum anywhere means H50's. Hum everywhere and there's a ground problem

If this was a 6, blah blah blah. Good Luck with the sale, I LOVE these basses

I have never noticed any hum, I have a Fender Jazz 75' reissue and it is a hummer. This bass is very quiet.

Gorgeous Quilt Top!

Wow!

Check the pickups - the color of the dot tells what type of pickups. H50A - red dot -- older H50S ceramic stacked humbuckers have a blue dot. Brown dot J99A

From Carvin website.

Older model J99 pickups, then. Great pickups, I might add.
