What's the string spacing? Aren't Carvins usually pretty narrow?

Wide assymetrical neck option is what the instrument has.
This is the dimension I'm getting from the web. I'd have to go home and measure it myself to confirm. (19mm string spacing- 3" bridge)

Quite an attractive bass. Too bad there aren't abalone dots on the fretboard - I've always thought they accented BEM very well.

Nice bass. I really like the Icon series. Too bad they take such a hit on resale.

IMO, Abalone inlays look cool on ebony like darker fretboard. I like BEM without any markings on it like high end basses (MTD). That's the reason I chose this configuration. It's a beautful as well as warm sounding instrument.

Great tone and playing on those recordings - is it this bass on all of them?

I'm thinking about ordering a bass w/ these same features - only abalone dot inlays and a 34.25 in scale (XB75 model)

Regardless-killer tone.

Nice fretless tone on St.Thomas. Burpy. What bass did you use on that track?

That is a very nice looking bass!!! I really like the contrast between to dark walnut and the maple fretboard. Nice sound on the recordings, too.
