I ordered this bass from Carvin a few years ago. It was a custom build, to my specs.
The bass has:
Mahogany neck and body with clear gloss finish
Sunsetburst edges
matching headstock with black Carvin logo
ebony fingerboard
neck through construction
abalone dot inlays
soapbar pickups (same pickups that come on the icon model)
Carvin 18 v. active/passive electronics (pull volume knob for passive) ...master volume, blend, stacked bass and treble, stacked mid/mid freq.
The bass comes in a black Carvin hardshell case.
The bass is in almost new condition. There is one small ding on the lower edge of the body. I've been using it as a backup bass, and it's been in my house for 99.9 percent of its life. I've played it on exactly two gigs.
In trade, I'm looking for:
A USA P bass
a Fender "51" P (no sting sig)
Lakland Skyline (any model...4 or 5)
Feel free to make any other 4 or 5 string offers, but I'm not really looking for a Jazz, since my Mike Lull covers that territory pretty well.
