I've had this Carvin for a few months now. It's a pretty nice bass, but I've become more of a Warwick guy, plus I've got tons of basses right now, so this one has to go. As you can see, it has a figured walnut top, with the NS option, i.e., the thru neck doesn't show, abalone block inlays, matching headstock, and the MM-style/jazz pickups. Everything works as it should. Comes with the OHSC.
The previous owner decided he liked black hardware better, so he replaced most of it. However, I have the original gold hardware which I will send as well. If I were going to keep it, I would put the gold hardware back on, as the coil splitting switch is still gold and so are the string ferrules.
Weight is 9 lbs. 11 oz., not too bad for a neck-thru sixer. Has a few little dings, I'd call it 8.5/10.
Took these pics down by the bay, trying to get some sunlight and scenery. Weather didn't cooperate, but here you go:

I think to order a similar bass from Carvin would cost about $1400-$1500; it's hard to be sure since Carvin changes their options, discounts, and promotions from time to time.
Anyway, $850 shipped to the lower 48.

I live fairly close to the Carvin factory, and I've gone to their showroom and played their various basses from time to time. I've tried most of their pickup combinations, and I like these big MM-style pickups the best. If I were going to order an LB-76, I'd get two MM's, although the MM/J combo sounds pretty good.
I've played this recently using just the MM pickup, and it sounds great; that pickup by itself is adequate. The option of blending some piezo, some neck pickup, or both really adds to its versatility. However, I have four other sixers at the moment, and a 7 on the way, so the Carvin doesn't get any playing time.

Which is standard for Carvin 5 strings.

My brain was thinking 5 string. . Yes, 16.5 is the standard for the 6ers. I think it is 17.5 on the wide 6 with asym neck.

Carvins, as a whole, as some of the best bang for the buck basses on the market.
