1) Ash Neck??? or do you mean Maple (Can you post a picture of the back of the neck)
2) What type of finish is on the back of the neck?
3) What type of top do you have on the bass looks like tiger maple?
4) Is 9 lbs the exact weight seems light for a 5000 ash (maybe a 5001 ash)?
5) What are your volume controls (V/V/T/T/B Boost /Cut)?
6) Can you post photos of the back of the bass body too?
7) Are you the original owner and why are you selling? |

The pickups are extra wound per his request, eventhough it's not listed as an option on the site, he ordered it in person and was able to make that request.... As far as I know.
To Kraig007:
Just to help answer some questions....
The finish on the back of the neck is satin... And I do believe the neck is maple, not ash (as far as I remember). The top should be flamed maple... Does Carvin have the option for tiger maple? And the OP is a fellow Coppolo man, so that may have some part of the reason for selling... This is totally just my opinion. But for the price and value, these are hard to beat. |

I believe he listed the ash neck by mistake. Quote:

No sales pitch here... Just trying to help a friend clear up some misunderstanding. |

its a maple neck. Back of the neck is satin and yes its a SB5000 bathroom scale says 9.4 you're right on the controls. I am the original owner and reason for selling is to thin the herd.
thanks for looking. |

Very classy looking!
If I hadn't already place an order for one a couple weeks ago I'd be tempted to go for this one! I'd actually still be tempted if it had an alder body!
Free bump! |

Nice bass!
