Carvin SB5000 crazy upgraded fretless
I just picked this up here from the one and only Rufus Philpot. Alas, it turns out that I am an unlined fretless guy, so I am looking to sell this one to pay for the one I just ordered from Carvin.
This bass has all kinds of upgrades and plays super smooth. It is in the exact condition as I got it. It did not come with a case, so I have none to offer, but it will be packed well and fully insured.
I am asking what I paid for it which is $825 SHIPPED via USPS Money Order or other cash-type transaction; Local pickup is in the Los Angeles/SFV area. This bass, with it's upgraded top, hardware and preamp would run you ~$1,500 from Carvin (I priced it out).

edit: limited number of trades willl be considered, but must have:
5 strings
at least 18mm spacing (unless it's a Sterling or SUB type bass)
maple board.
Ideally, I'd like to net a some $$ on it, so I'd be looking to trade down.
