Bass/Mid/Treble boost/cut, master volume and pickup blend controls...everything from light jazz to heavy thunder!! Dead silent too.
VERY thin neck, very low and smooth action...this bass is a fretless player's dream!! Gloss finish was removed from back of neck for smoother playability.

Did the bass come from the factory with an oiled neck, or was that done after the fact?

Ya know...I honestly can't answer either question. I just took it as a trade on one of my Stingrays a few weeks ago, so I don't really know much about it. I'm sorry Bro.

If there is a little black dot in front of the logo, they are J99 single coil pups. If there is a blue dot, or no dot, they are one of the H50 stacked coil humbuckers.

. | I have two LB70s, one with J99s, and one with H50s. I love them both.  Naturally, the H50s have the advantage of being quiet when a single pickup is favored or soloed.
