I just got this, and it's barely been out of the box. However, between ordering and receiving the bass, my wife and I had a baby and the bills are rolling in. I can't possibly sell my 1979 Rickenbacker or my Mike Lull, so unfortunately this one has to go... This is a great custom bass for a very low price! My aim when putting together the specs was to have a Fenderbird patterned after John Entwistle's. Will post photos soon. The attachment manager seems to be having problems.
This JAEbird Custom has some great upgrades, including:
Custom-made '66 ThunderBucker pickups (+$250)
Lightweight Gotoh Res-o-Lite vintage-style tuners (+$100)
In spite of these expensive upgrades--and because I have to sell quickly--I'm going to sell it at the regular base price of $895 shipping included to the CONUS.
More details:
Honduran mahogany body
Nitro Fiesta Red finish
Custom 3-ply black pickguard
Fender-licensed jazz bass neck, one-piece maple w/skunk stripe
Nitro gloss finish on neck
Bone nut
weight: roughly 9 lbs
No case, but will be packed very securely.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Whoever buys the bass, the pickup warranty will apply to you as well, just drop me a note and I'll change the ownership entry in my database.
Any questions about the pickups, feel free to drop me a line.
