Hi,
Up for sale is my great Celinder bass. This one is actually quite rare as it is one of just six ever made. It sounds great, and it is in a fine condition. Not mint, but definitely not abused neither. There are the usual dings here and there, but nothing unusual for a bass that have seen good use
Essentially, it is a jazz bass with single coils in 60's position, but it has a nice and slighty more chunky Precision maple neck with reverse headstock. The idea is that the E-string can be straight for much longer than with a standard headstock, and that deifnitely gives the low notes an outstanding clarity and definition! So, I guess the perfect match would be someone who primarily plays P-basses, but would like to have the funky J-sound in the tonal arsenal as well, but without loosing the feeling of a nice and chunky P-neck!
The finish is white blonde (semi-transparent), and even though it is a passive bass, it has a huge punch and plays just as loud as any active bass I have ever owned!
It is not exactly a light bass as it weighs 10,7 lbs., but both the nek and the body is chunky, so it is actually pretty well balanced :-)
Well, sound probably describes it better, so I have tossed together a quick sound sample of this bass.

I will ship from Denmark, and I'll throw in a Warwick hard shell case for protection during transit, but one of the latches has fallen off, so it is not a case that represents any real gigging value, but it is sturdy, and I will wrap up the bass in bubble wrap inside the hard case, and then put the hard case inside a solid cardboard box. I have sent (and received) many basses packed this way, and it has always worked out beautifully.
In order to get an exact shipping quote, I will need a precise delivery address. A quick estimate is around $130 uninsured with the national postal service, and quite a lot more insured with UPS Standard to the US. However, I will need an address for an exact shipping quote.
And then a bunch of pics, of course
