Charlie Hunter 8-string Novax Fanned Fret Guitar
Beautiful CH 8-string "hand" built by Ralph Novax in 1998 (I’m the original owner). Exquisite condition not a scratch on it...just like new. AAA Flame Maple top and neck, AAA Walnut body, Pau ferro fretboard, Bartolini p/u's, 5 position toggle switch for p/u's, Expression body type, two seperate outputs for guitar and bass, string thru body, neck thru body. This guitar has never gigged...I’m also throwing in the original Novax soft case (just like new). Brand new 8-string Novax's go for $3,600 and up with lesser electronics, lesser grade woods, and made on C&C machines. Ralph doesn't make hand made guitars like this anymore with “hand made” attention to details unless you’re willing to pay top dollar for it. Get this one for a steal-- $2,500
CONUS ONLY, NO TRADES
Payment can be made by PayPal or U.S. Postal Money Order

Always wanted to try one of these, too bad you're not close to Canada or willing to sell to us Canadians
Good luck with the sale!!

I wonder if you could do it in straight 4ths from a low B... Maybe that it is pointless to do so...
Hey you might want to post this on the gear page: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/
There are a few CH fans on there. |

Compared to a guitar, it is a bit of a stretch, but for a bassist used to the longer scale length, it was very comfortable. The neck feels narrower than most 5 string basses, and the scale is shorter too. BTW: Charlie is not a big guy.
Playing guitar and bass at the same time - not as easy as Charlie makes it look
