It's time to fund my new SGD pickups and get rid of the stuff I don't use, so I'm offering up my Aria Pro II RSB Deluxe and an Essex LPB short scale fretless P-bass.
First, the Aria. This is a 30 year old bass. There are bumps, bruises, finish cracks, dents, swirls, and the like on it. The concentric pots could probably use cleaning and tightening, and it could use a new set of strings (if you like them fresh like I do). But I don't really have to tell you how high quality these Aria's are. The action is awesome, it sounds great, it's a total slap machine, and it's just enough 80's-flavored to be cool. It comes with a Kases lightweight semi-hard case with lots of storage space. $240 shipped CONUS. SOLD! To MaddAnthony.
There's not much to say about the short scale fretless SX P. Stupidly, I tried to file the nut with old roundwound strings and took off a bit of the finish above the nut in the process. It could also use a setup. Otherwise, it has the typical drawbacks and selling points of SX basses. The lake placid blue finish is really top notch. The plastic is still on the pickguard. It's strung with medium gauge Chromes and I replaced the original pots with 500K's from an Epiphone Les Paul. Included is an SX SS gig bag. I'd like to see $110 shipped on this one.
