Hey guys,
I've decided I must sell my Cirrus 6. I have 2 sixers and my TRB6P ain't goin' nowhere. Need to help finance a motorcycle!
So here it is. I'm only asking $850 OBO + shipping.
This is priced to sell guys. Has brand new D'Addarios on it and comes with a Fender HSC.

Oh I'll take only 1 trade for this: Skyline 44-02 or 55-02, but of course, run all offers by me. You never know!

Probably because of the slim profile of the body and neck, it's very comfy |

I was looking at that Modulus Q6, but even though it's a great price, I can't quite swing it.
Would yousay the Peavey has a "smooth jazz" kind of tone? |

Playability was great and the bubinga top really brings out the low mids. To be fair I did replace the pickups with EMG's but that was more personal preference.
Shouldn't last long at this price! |

Would yousay the Peavey has a "smooth jazz" kind of tone? | Yeah I would say that. It is capable of a lot of tones, but does the Ken Smith/high end bass thing really well, due to the nice woods and pickups/electronics.
Spacing is the following:
17mm at bridge
15mm at end of neck
13.5 at 12th fret
9 at nut
The neck is very fast. It has a really nice profile. |

I'm tempted by this bass. I played a 4 string once and thought it was very nice. I'm kind of looking for something to use for smooth jazz so I can have a little more range for soloing. |

It's a naturally warm bass, with punchy mids and lows. If you scoop the mids out just slightly(as most smooth jazz bass is), I think it would do perfectly. If you PM me your e-mail addy, I'll send you a Fred Hammond clip that has a Cirrus.

I guess you´re describing this sound clip.
It´s probably one of the best slap tones I´ve ever heard.
IIRC it´s a bubinga or walnut top Cirrus. http://home.tampabay.rr.com/rrrrrrrr/hammond.wma
Just a helpful bump.

I can say this with confidence, as this was my old bass. It balances well and was very comfortable to play sitting and standing.
