THE BASS I AVAILABLE AGAIN FOR EITHER SALE OR TRADE. SEND YOUR OFFERS. Sorry if I didn't answer your pm before, I got lots of them. Please send it again.

This great bass is the best acoustic electric bass that I have ever tried. The reason I am letting it go is just because I am planing to order a 6 string version of the same bass. It was custom built for me a couple of years ago. It is a real piece of art. This is a very versatile bass, it has the Steve Swallow sound if you use a pick and the piezo pickup; you can get a very nice upright-like sound with finger style with piezo pickup and you can also get the sound of a solid body bass with the magnetic pickups.

Since I am very careful with all my basses this one is in perfect condition, looks just the same way it looked when I bought it.

These are the specs: 2-1/2" thick body, 34" scale, 17.5mm string spacing at the bridge and 2 humbuckers with active EQ, blend (magnetic pickups/piezo), blend between magnetic pickups, stacked sweepable mid boost/cut (magnetic pickups), treble/bass boost/cut (magnetic pickups), treble/bass boost/cut (piezo), X-braced top.

Trades I would be interested:

Ken Smith 6 string
Roscoe 6 string
Vintage Fender
Zon 6 strings
Fodera
Pedulla hexabuzz

I am opened to any other trade, so if you have something in mind please let me know. I would like to stay in the 34" scale and 18mm string spacing or less at the bridge (except for the vintage Fender of course) I am more interested in 6 string basses, but I would take 5 or 4 string if it is the right bass

Too many pms with buying offers so, I guess I will have to put a price on it. $5,000 plus shipping. I won't sell international, but I might trade.

Thanks for looking.

That is gorgeous! They had one like this at Bass NW a year-ish ago that I wish I could have tried. Is the top stained spruce or something else?

Some of the best basses made. If you still have it on Monday I'd love to come by to check it out. I'm in NH for a gig all weekend but will be playing at Wally's Monday night. Could stop in before that. I do have a Ristola 6 string you could check out. Not sure I could part with it in trade but you never know!

I played that bass and was extremely impressed with the playability and wide range of great sounds. If it had been a 4 I'da bought it.

I know Harvey Citron well - he makes the finest instruments. There are very few of these out there and it is rare to see one come to market - I've played a couple - each is amazing. Grab it!!!

I was wondering if/when I'd ever see a Citron on offer here. That day has come. Nice.

Looks like a high C from the pics, unless it is a crazy slinky G string.
