I'm thinking about parting this out if I can't sell it as one piece. It is a color changing MIM jazz bass body. I bought this off the bay for a project I wanted to try out. In the dark it looks black. As you move it in the light it changes from a sparkly greenish to purplish. It has a thin nitro finish. There are some marks in the nitro finish and some scuffing in various spots. There are a couple paint and finish cracks around the pocket, as well as the edge of the pocket. The paint chips are only around the pocket, but I ended up supergluing a chip that came off at the neck pocket. I added a vintage modified squier jazz neck. It also comes with a vintage modified squier fretless neck as well. The fretless neck has marks from someone using roundwounds, but you can't feel them on the neck. Both necks are drilled to fit the body and have Fender repro logos on them. The finish on the headstock of the block neck is not perfect, but you can't really tell beyond 3 feet. It could easily be light sanded to take out the imperfections. Has 1990's Bartolini jazz pickups and Dunlop strap buttons. The control palte and pots are from a new Fender 60's series jazz bass limited model. It has super low action and plays wonderfully. I'm looking to get $350 for it shipped OBO as is, or I will consider offers to part it out. Pics can be found here
