Previous Owner barely played it and handled it with gloves. Shortly after I got it, I received my Conklin Sig and I've barely played it. Now that I'm playing 11s, it's getting no action.

This bass is in absolute pristine/new condition. Never gigged, never sweated on. The strings on it are the same that it came with and they are still bright and zingy. Not a scratch or mark anywhere. Not sure on the weight, but it's incredibly lighter than 2 of my conklin 9s and is only slightly heavier than my retro 9. I think it's around 11-12 lbs.

A bass like this from Conklin would take 1-2 years to make and it would cost close to $6000.

Private message me if you have any questions (don't email). Please don't ask about any of my other basses for sale (Joust, Pac, H. Claw etc. - not gonna happen!)

If you want to learn how to rip open the depths of hell with a low C#, then yes. Perfect.

my only question is where does one buy a pack of 9 strings for bass guitar? I always wondered that about basses with 7 or more strings..

juststrings.com sells individual strings. I imagine you'd just come up with your ideal gauges and buy a six string pack and add whatever individuals you need.

That is a beautifull bass but I would hate to change lanes on that neck during rush hour.

I gather (from looking at the photo URLs) that this used to be Edo's bass? How is it strung?

Jeez, someone needs to buy this sweet axe. I've already had my GAS attack for the year (Benavente 7), so I'm out.

Jean, if it helps, I put a link to this thread on a couple other forums I frequent.

Hmm. 2 or 3 less strings, and I'd be all over it. That is, if I had the money.

I've read that three times already, hearing it as if christopher walken is saying it and placing the accent on different words...this is your brain on avatars.
