Cool US Made P-Bass Style - RUMLEY

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, this is a super cool but oddball bass. A luthier out in Colorado hand built this. It's a P-Bass derivitive, but is a lot more unique than that. The neck is mahogany with rosewood fretboard. It's super slim and easy to play with a Jazz Bass-style narrow nut width. The body woods are cypress with a pine top. All the odd wood choices lead up to a nice lightweight bass with good top end, but still the meat and fatness of a good P-Bass. Sounds amazing in a mix. It's got a few dings in the (presumably) nitro finish. Looks great and sounds awesome. US custom hand built by a luthier for this price? Yeah, I know. Bills to pay, etc. Comes with a gig bag.

$425 shipped in cont. US. Or, make an offer.

Very cool bass. I'm going to keep my eye on it. Don't have the money right now but will keep it in mind when I do in a couple months (if it happens to not sell).

Good luck!

I'm local to Chapel Hill, NC. Extra bucks off for local pick-up.

Not sure of the exact weight, as I don't have a scale. It's on the lighter side of average (for me, average is a Mexican Standard Precision). It's definitely lighter than my Ric.
