I like the tone of this bass! It has a burpy/Flea-ish kinda sound. Plays well but it cuts out in active mode sometimes (never in passive mode.) I have used contact cleaner but it has not helped. When it does cut out, you can tap on the volume knob and it will work again. I don't see anything loose. I am pairing down my bass stuff and it needs a good home. No case but will be carefully packed.
