CORT GB75 5 STRING - ASH/MAPLE - MM/J STYLE PUs - CLEAN!
NOTE: SOLD - THREAD CLOSED
Here's an extremely clean Cort GB75 5 string bass.
Lightweight (9.1 lbs), totally stock, great bass for the $$. Looks good with or without the pickguard. Solid ash body, maple neck, maple fretboard, inlays, bound neck. Great tone, structurally very sound, super straight neck, very little wear, frets in great shape.
Very much influenced by Marcus Miller's Fender bass - slap monster - controls are Vol/Blend/Bass/Treble. Push/pull volume switch for active/passive. Series/Parallel/Single coil switch for the MM pickup. Mid boost/cut switch (slap). Fun!
Priced at SOLD, shipped lower 48. Bass ships from SoCal.
I MUST thin the herd - Thanks for looking!
PS - One TBer asked an interesting question about pickup placement, compared to a Fender Jazz. Check it out - almost identical - here is the distance measured from 12th fret to the pickups coils:
- GB75: 10 5/8" - 13 3/4" - 14 5/8"
- Fender Jazz Bass (American Standard V 5, year 2001): 10 7/8": - 14/1/2"
