Custom '51 Precision, Maple bound and blocked neck, Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 pup

Hey bro's......here is a build using some soopa cool stuff. Its a superb player, and sounds absolutely spectacular. Based on a beautiful CV '51 Precision ULTRA HIGH GLOSS trans butterscotch body I bought from one of our TB brothers, its now loaded with a Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 Vintage pickup: http://www.seymourduncan.com/product...pb1_vintage_f/

It has full-size solid shaft pots & orange chicklet cap installed, and a fully copper shielded control cavity. Black control plate and flat top screw-on knobs finish it off nicely. It has a new $180 Hipshot "D" Style 2-piece bridge system: http://store.hipshotproducts.com/car...t_detail&p=364

The neck is a brand new 2010 VM bound and blocked 70's Jazz, never played before this build. Vintage tint looks great with the color of the body. It has ZERO fret or board wear. Its very thin, almost ala Geddy Lee Jazzes. Has a new restoration quality FPB waterslide (not cleared over) Has a chrome string retainer for better action and intonation.

This one is a real LOOKER, and the playability and sound is excellent!! Comes with a brand new hard shell case too.

Wasn't it a square heel on the original 51 neck? How did you make that rounded heel jazz neck fit?
