This bass sets-up,plays,and sounds every bit as good as it looks. The Fralin p'ups are powerful,articulate,and dead silent. The body is a VERY well matched 2pc solid,and the light really plays with the grain and flaming. The neck is Warmoth J-profile,1.5 nut and slightly thicker than my Marcus Miller. This bass is a top-shelf build,and will not disappoint. The only "issue" is the nut has a bit missing of the outside of the E saddle. It still holds the string just fine,hasn't been a problem,so I haven't gotten around to changing it. I'll post another pic of it as it was out of frame in the intended close up..
