Custom Sage Bass - CHEAP!!!

This is a beautiful handmade custom Sage Guitars bass. It is a richly figured Ash body with Spalted Maple top and matching headstock cap, Flamed Maple set neck with Wenge fingerboard, and custom Aguilar single coil pickups with an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. I took a fingerboard pictures to show the inlay work. Ryan Welcome hand inlay metal and wood to give dot markers a very distinctive "cat's eye" appearance. The photos do not do this bass justice, it looks much nicer in person.
It comes with a TKL 6136 Zero Gravity bass case and Dunlop Straploks. This bass list for about $3500 new! It's a great bass, but is criminally underplayed and I could use the money right now.

I'm seeking $1500 or best offer.

Remeasured it today and it actually is a 34" scale. I thought it was shorter because it's so easy to reach the first position on this bass.

It looks like he rigged the battery cover to be held in place with magnets like Sheldon Dingwall does. Cool. GLWS!

The Battery cover is held in with two standard screws, but the two holes are to keep you from marring up the finish with the good old "screwdriver pry".

Love Sage basses. Ryan did the finish on my Callowhill, amazing builder. Aren't those pickups Aeros?
