For sale, a Danelectro Baritone Guitar

Okay, not REALLY a bass, but if you are a bass player who also plays guitar, you will quickly figure out what to do with this, and you will see that it is very much a "bass".

This is one of the Made-in-Korea reissues of a few years ago. Sort of a modified Les Paul shape, definitely not one of those horribly ugly ones they make now.

This instrument has zero issues. It sounds totally amazing, and is super easy to play. I have had it for about three or four years, and have never had to so much as adjust the truss rod. It's black, with a rosewood fingerboard. No dings or chips, and the tape around the body still looks brand new. The overall condition is "barely shopworn", it's that clean. The intonation is spot on. There is no case, but I will include two sets of D'addario Baritone strings, which are especially made for the Danelectro. The Danelectro has a longer scale length than other baritones (about 29.5"), so it can be tuned down to A, which is where I have it tuned as well. The pickups sound great, and make no noise whatsoever. The tuners are fine. This instrument need no work at all, it's all good to go.

My handle on eBay is mark107nyc, where I have a 100% rating with 170 auctions.

$400., plus shipping.

I found a high-quality gigbag for it, which I will throw in.

As well as another pic :-)

BTW, this WILL function as a "fender-style" 6-string bass if you restring it with the proper strings, as the scale length is pretty much the same as both the Fender and Danelectro 6-string basses. So it's really two instruments in one.
