Danelectro Dano-blaster FS (only)

I got this Danelectro Dano-blaster from the local
Daddy's awhile back. It's a discontinued Korean-made
model. These always get good reviews, if you search
the web. Very much a strong P-bass sound (no
lipstick tubes here) and nice to play - light and well
balanced, with a 34" scale neck. Blue sparkle finish.

The bass has definitely been played. I cleaned it up,
took the neck off and made sure the truss rod works
(yup, it's got one). I strung it with a nicely-broken-in
set of TI flats from my stash, and was able to get a nice
low action. I plugged one very small hole where a
previous owner had put a thumbrest. Just a toothpick
and some black marker was all it took; it's pretty
much lost in the sparkle finish but it's still there. I
didn't buy this bass to admire, I bought it to play so
it didn't bother me. There's also a couple edge clunks
on the bottom/rear.

One more disclosure - the built-in chorus does not work.
I have never investigated why, since I've always considered
that to be a gimick anyway. If I want chorus, I'll buy a
pedal.

All that said, a very nice bass to play - I bought it for
a backup bass, but found myself using it quite a bit more
as primary. I'm looking for $200 shipped/lower 48, with
Paypal being preferred. Only selling because I have my
eye on something else, so no trade offers on this one please.

Nice basses - I owned one for a while, maybe 4 years ago - the chorus worked in mine, and was kinda cool (no controls, just on/off). I replaced the pickup in mine with a SD Quarter Pounder, the stock one sounded fine, but I wanted to experiment.

Mine had a different name, though - (I can't remember what right now..) Were these sold under a different name than 'Dano Blaster'?

"Rumor" - that was what mine was called, but was essentially the exact same thing as yours.
