I've had this one for awhile. It tends to stay in the closet, which is a shame because it really is a nice playing bass. It sounds great also.
Only mod (which is very easily reversed) was an experiment in wiring the pickups together (to form a "humbucker") to see if it made it sound "fatter". It didn't - but I never had it changed back.
Bass is in close to mint condition. It does have the typical "bubbling" on the edge tape on the inside of the horns. I included a pic of that area below. I think they all did this eventually.
It's actually a dark purple color. It will come in a shameless thin gig bag.
A great bass to keep at a practice place or a back up bass (or just to have something comletely different).
It's very light and balances fine with the black leather strap I use with all my basses.
