Not something you see every day, this is a korean made dano. I believe its a 99. Its really in fantastic shape i cant find any dings , some light white rub marks on the headstock that could probably be polished out . I have seen these sell up to 400$+ on Tb and I am pricing mine competitively and it is OBO so if you like it send me a fair offer, its important to note this is a korean made early run reissue from 98-01 , this one is a early 1999 i believe, lots of people will agree these are way better made then the newer chinese made ones.
My cousin the original owner never played it but painted the funky case it has.I played it at home only , i took it in for a setup and they cleaned/oil the board , new strings etc, all last month. The case has zero padding , its going to be bubble wrapped put in the case then well packaged in a box.
I hate paypal fees so payment needs to be in a fee free method. I am only asking 350$ shipped/insured and again thats or best offer , I am going to pack it bomb proof. If you love danos trust me and see my feedback , i dont lie this is a fantastic example of a longhorn

| | | | These are great basses. I love my P Basses, Jazz basses, etc.....but I kid you not ...EVERY SINGLE TIME THAT I PLAY ONE OF MY LONGHORNS, I GET COMPLIMENTS ON THE TONE ! Soundguys love it, the artists love it ...these MIK reissues are just winners. Great bass.
And yeah ...a heck of a guy to deal with ....straight shooter.

Its crazy when you debate which bass your going to play when your bored at home, a ric 4003 or a dano-I find myself in that boat. |

The color around the edge is kind of pinkish though. I cannot get past the mental image of taking that into a biker bar. ..

I actually just took on a Dano DC59 in silver sparkle of a similar vintage today. What a player! I'm just trying to get rid of it before I get attached. I recommend you don't play it A-Step or you'll have one less free spot in your stable.

BTW guys here is a cool site and a blueburst like mine is for sale , keep in mind these are way nicer then the current china made danos. Bass |

and i have yet to be hit on by a guy, when that day happens the pink fender will be staying home. |

I have bounced in some of the rougher bars in the area. Just trust me on this, not everyone can to park their harley in front of a tough redneck bar and watch the door in riding leathers...
I can get a way with a lot, but when I do something stupid (more often than I like to admit), people don't easily forget. That bass would get me a whole lineup of pink fruity drinks, and people pestering me to "drink up"
since I am not much of a drinker, I would be crawling to my pickup to sleep in the back seat

Anyways this is a fantastic , lightweight and easy to play bass-nothing like the china ones of today , these korean ones are a pleasure to play, the tones you can achieve are really just that great-I got a few offers both a little lower then I am looking for now , but shoot me some Pm's this is TALK bass |

I find it hard to believe no one wants a badass bass, the tone seriously kills- I just ran it through a GK 800RB with 2 410 cabs-so much tone , very ric like in tone.
Super light.
Get it before i change my mind, make a offer |

I bought a loaded control plate for an American Standard Deluxe, chrome stacked knobs, jack and dual battery leads...
I probably should have spent the same money on another bass instead of fixing up a project

This bass isnt the end all means in the bass world , but if i needed a rick style tone , cheap and i needed it light and easy to play , it would be this.
and 350$ is just what I am asking if anyone wants to pay that well they can but I will take less for sure, how much less is to be determined. |

. | I used an older fender Jazz body, installed a newer warmoth neck. Old style Wilkinson USA bridge (adjustable for string spacing) and now the passive/active controls for a new fender American Deluxe. I was undecided on pups, but I have a set of Dimarzio ultra jazz pups in a box in the garage
I thought I was going to throw together an inexpensive gigging bass, so I did not ding up my nice ones... As with so many other of my projects, it took on a life of it's own
