Darkstar Fender Precision P-bass

Sign in to disble this ad
amazing bass, sounds huge.
P-bass body (not 100% if its usa or mij)
USA Jazz neck
darkstar pickup with thumb rest
overall really nice shape. Couple minor love taps here and there, Very hard to see and camera isn't picking them up so well. two holes near bridge. I think it had a midi pickup or something at some point.
$600 plus shipping
only trades I am interested in are an ipad and a warwick streamer stage 1 4 string PJ.

Hey TB.

I had the chance to play this bass a few days ago, and I was very sad to see it go out the door.

It is absolutely AWESOME. At the time I tried it, the bass was wearing flats, and...wow. Darkstar + flats = need to change pants. The fact that it sits in a nicely colored, vintage P body is excellent, and the Jazz neck is great. It feels very smooth and is easy to play.

This is really a ton of bass for $600, should be gone very quickly. Good luck with the sale!

danke

thanks. It was a hard decision. A really hard decision. In fact, now I'm not so sure. Especially with my new amp (thanks to you) this bass just kills. But I don't need to have as many as I do and this should be played.

I was looking for a few shots head on, so I could see the neck/body joint, the headstock (with serial number). Nothing too much.

I can tell the bridge is a replacement (sort of upgrade, the two holes look like the original bridge mounting holes) and it looks like the pickguard is a replacement.

Very cool bass, I'm guessing it has a really cool sound.

I'll defer to Lublin first, as he is right in your neighborhood and as a NJ compadre I'll let him have first dibs. If he doesn't grab it I'm next.

ill get those shots for you after I shovel out from the snow we got.
it is a franken fender so nothing is original to each other.
so serial number for the neck is just for the neck.
the bridge holes are definitely from a midi pickup being placed there.
lastly, I am going to say its definitely a replacement pickguard as it is a very clean cut for the pickup.
