[B[/b]Mid 90s USA made Ibanez ATK bass with the Dave Bunker neck.
Translucent dark red ash with maple neck.
Bass is in about the 85% range of condition. Many surface dings and some scratches but none of them break the finish or scratch to the wood. NO BELT BUCKLE DAMAGE! WOW! Two dings on the neck at fret 2 & 3, top edge next to the fret board, not bad ones.
Frets are in very good condition with only the slightest of wear to been seen at the "good old E octive, 3rd string, fret #2. All the others are near excellent.
Currently strung with new light guage GHS flats.
Bass is all original. The serial number which was on the back side of the headstock started to peel off and was taped inside of the control cover.
Brass nut, 5 piece neck and chrome logo and serial # are the proof of it being a Bunker Ibanez.
All hardware is in excellent condition. (Pickguard is a bit warped.)
UV light has changed the red color to a fantastic looking wood grain type of red color as seen in the photos. UV light has also given the figured maple fret board a yellowish tint whereas the back side of the neck is still a typical maple color.
Comes with a Carvin Hard shell case from 1983. It's a high quality G&G tolex case. (Carvin logo was removed.). Case is in very good condition. The Ibanez fits in perfectly!
Only issue..............the jack is a bit weak and doesn't hold the instrument cable very tightly but the jack works just fine and turns on the active EQ and the bass plays great! These kind of jacks are not very strong to begin with.
Don't know the weight. It's not light but it's not a "boat anchor" either. About the same as a StingRay. Guessing around 9 to 10 lbs.
Own a collectable! Nice Bass! Very SingRay in sound with a 3way switch for other pickup options.
