Dave Simmons Thorus- beautiful!

Hate to let this one go, but I have to thin the herd. This beauty was built by Dave Simmons in 2006. This bass is very light (I'll have to get back with an exact weight but I'm sure it's under 8 lbs) and plays incredibly. Gotoh tuners, Hipshot bridge, Bartolini p/ups and preamp. Really nice woods- the top is African bloodwood. Other than a VERY small (size of a pinhead) blemish in the finish which can only be seen close up and is probably touch-up-able, this bass is perfect. Great tones; 9V/18V (depending on whether you want to use one or two batteries). I bought this from a music store in NC near Simmons's shop (I'm not sure if he is still in business). Original price for this bass was $2000K; $950 gets it shipped anywhere in CONUS.
