Dingwall 5 string combustion for sale

For sale is my less that one year old Dingwall 5 string Combustion. This bass is mint. Great construction, finish and setup. The serial number is 00021. The bass weighs 8.7 pounds.

I purchased this bass from Bass North West in February 2012 When I received this bass I was impressed with the fit and finish. The blonde finish and white pearl pick guard looked awesome.

When I plugged the bass in I noticed that the balance of the volumn and tone accross the strings was off. I contacted BassNW and complained. Evan sent my message to Sheldon and Barry.

Sheldon was cool and sent me a new replacement pair of pickups rather than the B string magnet upgrade that they were mailing out at the time. After my guitar tech installed the pickups and adjusted the neck, I experienced how good Dingwalls are. It became my bass of choice (other basses are US Spector bolt on and Kinal 5 string bolt on). The clarity and intonation of the this bass made my solos sing. I got many compliments. Playing mostly upright now.
Selling for $900 shipped to CONUS. I'll include lightweight Kaces gigbag. I will also include the original black knobs.

Indoor photos don't give accurate color reproduction. I added some outdoor photo and picture of gig bag. Gig bag is not heavy duty. I use it to store the bass in my house. I have a heavy duty gig bad that I use when I take the bass out of the house.

Nice looking Dingwall. I just picked up an ABZ5 and absolutely love it. The balanced tone across all of the strings is fabulous. And the B string is the best I've heard. Took me 10 minutes or so to get used to the fanned frets. I have to think about it when going from standard frets... but not for long.

Somebody will be very happy with this Dingwall.

Dingwall fanned frets

Played with it for a couple of hours when I first received it and then used it for my next gig. Not difficult to get used to. The clarity and the tone made my other basses seem muffled.
