Getting rid of the Dingwall, I love this bass, but picked up some gigs playing keys and need to upgrade by key rig. That and the fact that I was lucky enough to get in on the LOG bass order means the Dingwall isn't seeing much use these days. It's in great condition, a couple tiny scratches and dings if you look at it up close (I've tried to capture it all in the photos), probably an 8 or 8.5 out of 10 cosmetically. Sounds great, huge variety of really cool tones. Even though it's passive, with new strings and the proprietary EQ circuit you can get a really modern scooped sound, or you can get a whole lot of vintage sounding growl. Asking $1800 shipped, with an skb hard shell case and a couple extra sets of new strings. View Pictures Here
Possibly interested in trade + cash for a 5 string jazz (Lakland Skyline or similar), or a Lakland Skyline 55-02
EDIT: There is one mod I forgot about : A higher quality capacitor was placed in the passive tone control (not the proprietary EQ switch), which results in a rounder, and to my ear more musical range of tones. The fully rolled off tone is now deeper and smoother than it had been with the original capacitor. The work was done professionally by Chance at Fearless Guitars in Portland OR, who is the best guitar tech i've ever met.

Err...I do have a Lakie 55-02 that I use only on occasion. Hmmm......
