Possibly interested in trading this fine example of Sheldon Dingwalls work. It's in excellent condition. Virtually like new with only very slight scratches on the back that are barely noticeable. But wanting to point out any imperfections.
It is super light and balances perfectly. What they say about Dingwall tone is true. Incredible. Best B string of any bass I've ever played and I've played a lot.
This one has the active Glockenklang preamp. Controls are
- volume with active/passive push/pull
- pickup selection. 4-way switching. Rear pickup only, both in parallel, both in series and front only
- treble boost/cut
- bass boost/cut
Very versatile. Both pickups in serial sounds absolutely huge
Awesome neck with very low action. Every note across the strings and up and down the neck is balanced and even sounding.
Fabulous instrument for sure. I'm just not sure it's my cup of tea. So I'd like to see what's out there. Will come with Dingwall original high-quality soft bag style case in like-new condition.
